Hauswirth/Co is our take on what a strategic communications firm should be, and can do. We bring a smart, more pointed approach to building consumer advocacy and translate complex issues into energetic campaigns.
By only working with organizations and brands that get us jumping out of bed in the morning, a different kind of energy is created, one that puts us closer to those personal, emotional triggers that can excite, inspire, and even enrage.
Winning ideas must work both in 140 characters and in 30-minute speeches. We orchestrate public engagement and brand activations to bring your mission to life, deeply connecting with your most important audiences.
Since what will impact your organization tomorrow might not yet exist today, creative executions must be nimble, adaptable and stunning. We build teams for every challenge with H/Co’s full-time crew of dedicated professionals and then tap into a highly cultivated pool of on-demand talent.
We’re a grown-up team of digital natives who realize it’s impossible to build digital audiences and win campaigns without putting multicultural audiences at the center. Culturally inclusive communications come naturally to our team – Latinx, African American, LGBTQ+, badass women, and allies – who bring insights from their lived and learned experiences to work every day.

Ebonne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to H/Co in the areas of strategic communication, media relations and consumer-brand engagement. Over the last 12 years, she has contributed to and/or led public relation efforts for a range of Fortune 500 corporations and government agencies including: McDonald’s, Unilever, Mondelez, MillerCoors, Sears Holdings Corp., The U.S. Postal Service and The Illinois Office of Tourism, among others. At H/Co, Ebonne spearheads the firm’s external communications efforts and co-leads the brand marketing practice in partnership with Argelia Martinez.
Like many modern professionals, the marketing-communications field is not Ebonne’s only career. Before joining Chicago’s agency scene, Ebonne’s experience as a professional dancer and choreographer afforded her the opportunity to launch one of the largest competitive cheerleading and dance training programs in the U.S. and appear regularly on national TV. Ebonne also gained off-camera television experience serving as a member of The Oprah Winfrey Show post-production team during the iconic daytime talk program’s final two seasons.
While Ebonne is typically immersed in social/digital technology, she turns to “old school” media to unwind/unplug. Most evenings she can be found enjoying her vinyl collection of 80’s and 90’s pop albums, binging “The Baby-Sitter’s Club” series on Netflix or playing her Super Nintendo.
Melissa Dvojacki is an Account Coordinator at H/Co, bringing experience in digital and influencer strategy, as well as corporate communications. Before joining the team, Melissa worked as a media relations specialist at GOLIN where she split her time working on their Allstate and Ferrara accounts. Melissa is an Indiana native and studied journalism, public relations, and Latino studies at Indiana University (go Hoosiers!).
Earlier this year, some COVID-19 downtime gave Melissa the ability to flex her digital muscles by designing and implementing an organic growth strategy for her sister’s online dessert business, which grew by over 6.7K Instagram followers from scratch in 2020. Melissa is bilingual and adds her experience in the Spanish language and Latino studies to the team’s multicultural strategy. When she isn’t spending hours scrolling through TikTok, you can find her listening to her favorite true-crime podcasts or indulging in her guiltiest of pleasures: catching up on all things Bachelor related!
