H/Co is hiring! We are seeking an ambitious marketing comms professional with 2-3 years industry experience in BOTH social media management and creative copywriting. Design experience for social media is a nice-to-have skill. Our ideal candidate enjoys scrolling through Instagram and/or Twitter and creating cool content with smart, witty copy. This role will be pivotal in contributing to the digital content we produce and how we connect with our clients’ growing online audiences. The hired candidate will work with a lean, dedicated team of communications and design professionals supporting both important causes and large brands.

Description of Role
Professional time split between social/digital strategy and creative concepting/development.


  • Recommend social content and channel strategy POV 
  • Develop social media content calendars and assist in community management
  • Identify and coordinate with influencers to develop/distribute client content  
  • Active daily social listening that will inform content recommendations 
  • Monitoring and reporting for social media activations including content performance, reactive engagement rates and influencer programs


  • Ability to quickly turn an idea into an in-feed post for social media, short light animation, and/or Stories/Quizzes for Instagram & Facebook

Who’s a good fit?

Our ideal candidate is someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment with our growing team and has natural interest in on the following:

  • Researching/Reporting What Matters Online: Conduct social listening for brand clients and support the team in shaping insights into actionable content recommendations. 
  • Analyzing Online Research for Insight: Monitor and thoroughly understand new trends and topics in digital communication tools/trends/platform updates. Prepare share outs for the team. 
  • Creating Interesting Content: Create and maintain a content calendar. Assist in keeping it up to date by scheduling content and applying client feedback to keep it up to date. 


  • 2-3 years agency experience (advertising, public relations or social media)  
  • Proficient in the following creative design capabilities: 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Personal interest in current events, social media technology trends, food culture
  • Strong team player with great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing/communication skills
  • Excellent brief-writing skills
  • Capable of bringing a lens of inclusivity to your work and to interactions with colleagues
  • Proficient in design: 
    • iPhone applications for editing/content creation
    • Social Media Applications For Creative Creation – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest Snapchat, and/or Linked In 
    • Nice to have – Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
